With a current print run of 7,500 copies, MDÜ is the most widely circulated professional journal for interpreters and translators in German-speaking countries. MDÜ is published by BDÜ e.V.
MDÜ stands for high-quality content and sound reporting. MDÜ discusses developments and market trends for translation and interpreting services. It reports on events worldwide, provides information on training and professional development offers, etc. The journal covers the entire range of professionally relevant topics from theory and practice: from tools to terminology, linguistic and translation theory issues and developments in the profession, as well as entrepreneurial skills.
In addition to the regular sections, each issue highlights a particular topic from different angles.
Independent experts from the respective expert areas and representatives from research and academics as well as experienced linguists, users, etc. are represented as authors.
BDÜ members automatically receive MDÜ six times a year. MDÜ is available to non-members as an individual issue or as a subscription.
